What is a security authenticator device and why is it important for withdrawals?

A security authenticator device is a tool that provides an additional layer of security when authorizing withdrawals from an account.

Why is it important for withdrawals?

• Enhanced security: It ensures that only the account holder can complete a withdrawal by requiring a second form of verification beyond a standard password. This verification is typically done through a one-time code generated by an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or WeChat, on a registered device.

• Fraud protection: Even if someone else knows your password, they won’t be able to withdraw funds without access to your authenticator device.

• Control over transactions: By adding this layer of authentication, you gain direct control over every withdrawal transaction, ensuring that only you can approve them.

Important reminders:

• If you suspect that someone knows your password, please change or reset your client portal password immediately.
